Functional Area Detail
When you select edit on the functional area, the Functional Area details pane will open on the right. This pane includes details such as Name, Description, Control Dimensions, Linked Access, and any Data Protection Rule applied to the Functional Area.
Catalog
The functional area is accessible by clicking on it. It is displayed in a table structure with columns for Name, Title, and Type. The Name column includes the object name, which encompasses the Functional Area name and title. The Type column indicates the object type, such as Functional Area, Sheet, or Boards. The rows include sheets, boards, models, etc., contained within the functional area.
Clicking on the functional area presents options to add objects, open in a new tab, copy, edit, and delete. When clicking on a row for other objects, the options are limited to open in a new tab, copy, edit, and delete.
The Level 2 header includes options to search and edit functional area details.
Metrics
The Metrics tab of the Functional Area is displayed in a table structure with columns for Sheet, Metric, Data Type, Formula, Applies To, Data Protection Rule, Dimensions, and Functional Area. The Sheet column indicates the sheet the metric belongs to, including its name and data type. The Formula column shows the formula logic if it is a formula metric. If any dimension is added to the metric in the Applies To section, it will appear in the corresponding column. The Data Protection Rule applied to the metric will be shown in the Data Protection Rule column. The Dimensions column displays the dimensions included in the sheet containing the metric. The Functional Area column indicates the Functional Area to which the metrics belong.
The Level 2 header includes options to search and edit Functional Area details. Additionally, the ellipsis provides the option to export the metric details as an Excel sheet.
