JustPerform App Enhancement

With the introduction of the App concept in JustPerform, the Space Explorer has been recongnised for a seamless user experience when accessing application objects.

The Space Explorer now features a single tab called "Explorer," consolidating the previous tabs: Drive, Modelling, and Governance.

Each workspace now includes a default app named "Standard App," which serves as a placeholder and can be renamed as needed.

Key Changes with the App Release:

  • Stories: Moved to Standard App > Public (Functional Area).
  • Calculations: Moved to Standard App > Public (Functional Area).
  • Dataflow: Moved to Data Hub.
  • Fields: Moved to Data Hub.
  • Existing Functional Areas: Moved to Standard App.
  • Remote Tables: Moved to Data Hub.
  • Admin Central: For Workspace Admins and Workspace Owners, Admin Central is now located within the Explorer.

App Content Page

When a user clicks on the app name, they can browse the entire content of the application within a single page.

Users will be able to:

  • View object types under the "Type" column.
  • Search for relevant objects.
  • Perform operations on objects such as such as adding new items, opening in a new tab, copying, editing, and deleting - similar to operations in the Space Explorer.

Event Log and Sheet Calculation Status

Event Log

A new functionality under "Monitor" allows users to check the history and status of actions performed by users, such as viewing reports, saving data, and checking field members.

The event log can be accessed from Governance > Monitor > Event Log.

The event log screen displays a comprehensive history of events performed by users in the system, including information such as:

  • Event ID
  • Category: Type of object accessed (e.g., Fields, Sheet, Model).
  • Object Name: Name of the main object accessed by the user.
  • Snippet Name: Name of the report/input form (if relevant).
  • Event: Type of action (e.g., Read, Save, Publish, Import, Export).
  • User ID
  • Status of the action
  • Event Start Time
  • Event End Time
  • User's IP Address
  • User's Email ID
  • Application used by the user

Sheet Calculation Status

When a user uploads data into the system, the status now provides a breakdown of Upload vs. Calculation, including information about the completion rate of the upload program.

This detailed status is also displayed under the "In Progress" icon on the upper-right side of the screen.
