Navigating Metrics
To navigate to metrics in a sheet, users have two methods:
Sheet Details
Metrics
Metrics can be accessed from the sheet by clicking the Sheet Details in the Level 2 header. This will navigate the user to the metric list. Then, click on any metric to view Metric Details, or click the up-right-and-down-left-arrows button beside the metric to go to the metric page.
In the Level 2 header, users can switch from List view to Table view to view metric details. Clicking on the link button will display linked dimensions.
Features
When the feature Consolidate Data in Sheet is enabled, the rules used in consolidation appear in the Features tab.
All the rules for consolidation will appear here, along with their name and description. The toggle switch will display the active or inactive status of the rule. You can click on the rule to update its status. The Explore option lets you update and run the rule. You can also run the rule directly from the Features tab or add it as a calculation task in Activities for other users to run.
Sheet Data
In the Sheet Data, click on any cell. The system will detect which metric that cell belongs to and display the metric name and formula (if applicable) in the formula bar at the top-left corner of the sheet, below the Level 2 header. Click the Explore button to navigate to the Metric Page.
Functional Area Metric List
The Metric Summary List can be accessed from the Functional Area, in the Metrics tab. This provides a central place for users to search and analyze all metrics within a particular Functional Area or App. Users can also export the metric list with detailed information.
App Metric List
The metric list can be accessed from the App's Metrics tab. This tab also serves as a summary of all the metrics contained in the app, across different functional areas. The metric details are displayed in a table format, including columns for Sheet, Metric, Data Type, Formula, Applies To, Data Protection Rule, Dimensions, and Functional Area.
