Currency Conversion and Group Consolidation Features for Consolidation Sheet
We are introducing two new actions for consolidation sheets to help you efficiently transform data between Group (Currency) members: Currency conversion and group consolidation.
Currency Conversion
This action enables the conversion of currencies from the Local Currency to other currencies. To use this feature, exchange rates must already be maintained. Rates can be configured under Rates > Exchange Rate within the same functional area as the sheet.
Currency conversion rules can be defined by updating triggers, properties, and rules in the Actions tab of the sheet detail page. For advanced requirements, detailed conversion rules can also be set up in the same section.
Group Consolidation
This action consolidates data from entity-level to group-level based on ownership structure details. Ownership structures can be managed by configuring the Ownership Structure under Rates.
Group consolidation rules can be setup by updating triggers and specifying the consolidation method in the Actions tab of the sheet detail page. Currency conversion can be enabled to run alongside group consolidation, streamlining the process further.
Both actions can be executed by clicking the Run button on the Actions tab or through the Data Options in the sheet. Alternatively, you can tag the rules to tasks under Calculations & Data Flow and execute them via the Activity section.

Copy Data Options for Sheet
You can now copy data directly within a sheet using the CopyData option. This feature allows you to replicate data from a source selection to a target selection. The two selections must differ in at least one aspect, such as a field or a metric. This option is accessible from the L2 header on the sheet, under More > Copy Data.

Add Field from Metric Data (Field Type) – Alias
In additional to the Add parameter for metrics in sheets, you can now add details about specific fields from the metric data as a member ID using the Alias Function. This feature is useful for populating data based on value of another metric.
For example, a sheet contains two metrics : Sales volumes and Customer by product, version and time.
Sales volume is an numeric input metric.
Customers is a field selection.
In a different sheet, containing fields product, version, time, and customer, the Sales volume metric can serve as the main input metric in a formula type metric. The Add parameter is used for Customer field, selecting Customer as the metric and alias as Measure.

Integration Updates
- OData enhancement: Data integration using the OData source now includes parameters for integrating Exchange Rate data. This process is authenticated using an Access Key.
- SAP Fund Retraction Enhancement: SAP Fund Retraction is now enabled for metric data in addition to model data.
