Account Reclassification

Purpose

Define the rules that will reclassify balances from one source dataset to a target dataset. The dataset can be as simple as from one source account to another target account, or as complex as a combination of field members like reclass account, flow, entity, etc., to target combinations. The system will auto-generate the mapping rules.

Account reclassification is a calculation rule used to define the source account and movement to the destination account and movement. This rule is commonly used for cost transfer and management reporting.

Prerequisites

Account reclassification works based on the defined dataset, account, and flow type fields. Required fields are based on the tagged model used for defining the rule calculation.
