User-Defined Snippets - Reports
Standard Snippets have been introduced to display and manage different views of your datasets. With this latest enhancement, you can create your own Webform reports or Custom snippets in JustPerform web. These reports can be published in public mode for everyone to access and collaborate, or they can be saved privately for the user's view alone.
Users can access and build these Web reports on existing models, whether standard or virtual. Access to these reports is managed through the underlying model itself, depending on whether it is public or private. Users can easily access and collaborate on these reports. Snippets can be shared with filters, just like standard snippets, using the web URL. Authorized users can view the reports with their respective filters, enabling targeted analysis based on specific data details and history.
Now, you can leverage this function to report data in the Web interface along with the Excel interface. The user experience for building reports has been kept the same for easier adoption by business users.
Introducing Cycles
To align the process definition within the organization with system activity instances for better and improved process monitoring, we've introduced Cycles for Process Instances. A Cycle is defined as a group of process flow instances or occurrences deployed for activities within the organization, based on the process. With this enhancement, we can initiate a Cycle and tag multiple activities to be part of it. The system will auto-create instances for all the activities and deploy them to the respective user groups. We can now track and monitor the overall cycle progress at the organization level from the Monitor dashboard.
Learn more about Cycles in the Process section.
Additionally, users can now view their My Activities page as an additional tab on the JustPerform landing page when they log in. It displays the responsible activities assigned to the user based on their role.
Velocity Engine & Performance Optimization for Value Driver Tree
We are excited to announce significant performance enhancements for Value Driver Trees. Our latest optimizations have resulted in faster calculations, delivering results 20-50% quicker than before. We've taken it a step further with the introduction of the groundbreaking Velocity Engine to supercharge Value Driver Trees when dealing with large datasets.
The Velocity Engine is a cutting-edge in-memory calculation engine that harnesses the power of your application resources to process and calculate vast amounts of data. By enabling the Velocity Engine for each Value Driver Tree, you unlock a whole new level of performance. Simply click on Use Velocity Engine in the Calculation task of each Value Driver Tree step to experience the difference.
Prepare to be impressed as the Velocity Engine takes Value Driver Trees to new heights, especially when dealing with extensive datasets. With 10,000 records or more, you can expect a staggering 60%-90% boost in performance. That means lightning-fast calculations and processing, empowering you to make faster, data-driven decisions.
Remote Table Schedule and Task Monitor Updates
With our latest updates, you can now maintain Remote Table loading and scheduling in a single, intuitive screen for all your Table Sets. Enjoy the convenience of a streamlined workflow as you effortlessly monitor completed loading history through our Task Monitor.
The Task Monitor provides a holistic view of your remote table loading activities. You'll gain information about each loading process, including categories like Remote Table, activity details linked to the table set name, specific task information such as replicate data, and comprehensive logs containing timestamps, user details, and status updates.
The new Schedule Detail tab offers a comprehensive overview of your completed schedules, allowing you to review existing schedules and make edits as needed.
We've also made updates to the Table Set and Remote Table screens, ensuring that the new Schedule settings and loading history seamlessly integrate into your existing workflows. Dive into your Remote Table details to explore comprehensive Data History, providing insights into each load performed for respective remote tables. Get a granular understanding of record updates and drive data-based decision-making with ease.
We've made minor changes to the history of Process Flow tasks to enhance your experience. Mode is now set to On Demand for all Process Flow tasks, reflecting the direct execution by users. Task and Activity names are stored as they were at the time of execution, ensuring historical accuracy even if names are modified.
What's Upcoming
- Input Form Snippets: Build your own Input forms in the web interface to capture details, similar to the Excel Add-in, and publish them in public mode for sharing with others or in private mode.
- Subfields & Parent Group: Get ready for subfields, which will simplify and enhance the modelling capabilities, empowering users to create one field with multiple levels.
- Report Snippets: Enhancements are planned to improve the experience for report snippets.
