Stories Design Pane

Design pane is navigated from Explore menu. Click the Add button.

• Refresh and Save buttons are available on header, and are used for new template.
• Update button saves the definition of the template changes. Any change or update performed on the template definition layout gets saved only after the Update is performed. To update the excel template with the definition changes, this Update function is mandatory.
  Purpose of this Update button differs from Save feature.
• Save button is used to update data entered in excel template/ Input schedule back to the JustPerform system database, while Update is available in Design panel for updating the definition and layout creation/modification changes from the design panel back to excel template, So on Refresh the impact can be expanded.

Design Pane has four sections – Header, Definition, Layout, and Options.

1. Header hosts the key functions like refresh, save, data details, and update.

2. Definition captures name, type, and model for report.

3. Layout assigns selected fields and members for report axes.

4. Options hosts all the template options and Styles.
