Styles in Excel Stories

Styles are formatting options for the template that enhance presentations for user reporting. Once the template is generated, users may apply the formats of their choice based on corporate styles or individual preferences, ensuring that all business and presentation requirements are met. Style options can include:

  • Number format

  • Text alignment

  • Color: text color and text highlight color.

  • Font, size, and style (bold, italic, etc.)

  • Indentation: applied for parent, child, and calculation members.

These options can be applied to both column and row axis data members, axis members, data levels, or specific members.

Note: To fulfill business requirements, JustPerform provides style functionality where users can select from predefined standard styles or create their own styles.

The style template can be saved under either Global or Book:

  • When saved as Global, these styles can be reused across the workspace and applied to any templates created in the workspace.

  • When saved as Book, the style will only be available for that workbook and cannot be reused across the workspace.
