Snippets Design Pane: Level 2 Header

Refresh: This option allows users to update the displayed data with the most recent information. By clicking the refresh button, any changes made to the underlying data source or updates made by other users will be reflected in the current view, ensuring that the data is up to date. The time after refresh is displayed beside it.

Toolbar: The toolbar plays a pivotal role in customizing snippets. It offers a diverse range of options for enhancing both the appearance and functionality of snippets. To initiate the formatting of a snippet, click the Toolbar, which provides access to a comprehensive set of features.

1. Export: This option allows users to save snippet data as an Excel or PDF file.
2. Style: Existing styles can be applied, or new ones can be created using the Palette icon, enabling users to achieve the desired visual presentation for their data.
3. Freeze: This function allows specific rows, columns, or panes to remain visible while scrolling through large datasets, ensuring important header information is readily accessible.
4. Grid Options
   • Grid Lines:Users can adjust the visibility of grid lines to enhance the visual appeal and readability of data presentations.
   • Column Headers and Row Headers: The toolbar provides options to toggle the visibility of column and row headers, allowing users to optimize the snippet layout based on their preferences and focus. These features collectively provide enhanced control and flexibility in tailoring the appearance and functionality of snippets to meet specific data analysis requirements.
   • Formula Bar: Access to the Formula Bar is also facilitated from this section. Users can enter formulas in the formula bar that opens below.
5. Data Filtering: The toolbar empowers users to filter data based on specific conditions. This can be achieved by selecting options from a dropdown menu to refine data or by filtering for specific values, thus enabling focused and tailored data selection.
6. Text and Cell Customization: Extensive formatting capabilities are available, allowing precise adjustments to text font, font size, cell type (e.g., Dollar, Percentage), and choosing from the many number formats available in the dropdown.
7. Text Formatting: Options include bold, italic, underscore style, text color, background color, cell border, horizontal alignment, vertical alignment, wrap text, indent, and outdent.
8. Cell Selection: The Cell Selection serves to display the currently selected cell within the snippet in the formula bar. This visual indicator helps users maintain awareness of their active cell while working on data, ensuring ease of navigation within the snippet.

Snippet: Enables the access to existing snippets and allows creation of new snippets.

View/Edit: View lets users view data as a report based on the snippet. Edit opens the Report Details tab to modify snippet details.

Publish: This option allows users to publish the snippet. "Publish" implies saving the created snippet to the public/private tab, while "Publish As" implies renaming it.

Hide/Show Header: This option hides or shows the header for an improved report view.
