Visual Snippets

Create Visual

1. In JustPerform web, go to the Modelling tab and select a sheet, standard model, or virtual model to base the snippet on.

2. In the level 2 header, locate the Snippet icon to start creating a snippet. The Snippet menu contains three panes: Public, Private, and Stories. Users can access existing snippets here. Below, locate the Create Snippet button and select Visual. A snippet creation pane will open.

3. Fill in the Snippet details as below:

   • Name: Name of the report

   • Title: Report name to be displayed

   • Private: Checked by default

   • Fields: All the fields and their attributes can be viewed by expanding the sections. Move the desired attributes to rows, columns, or filters.

   • Layout: In this configuration, Axis (Categories) represents the data displayed in rows, while Legend (Series) pertains to the data presented in columns. Click the Filter icon to select members. Note that the members here cannot be blank. Click the Ellipsis icon to move fields within the layout or remove them.

4. Refresh to apply the changes and view updated data.

5. Click Publish to publish the visual.

6. Convert within visual types using the charts option from the level 2 header, apply styles, and manipulate visual display elements like data labels, axis titles, legends, etc.
