Time Range Member Selector
This additional selection is available for the Time field only. For the Time field, click the Filter icon beside it. Under Type for Time member selector, the option Member Range should be selected. Please choose this option if you want to get Time dynamically from the start and end period.
Upon choosing the option, the user then needs to decide how JustPerform should determine the start member and end member for Time. The user needs to select:
Level: Level in which Time is presented.
- Year: To get all members .TOTAL for Year.
- Quarter: To get all members .Qx for Quarter.
- Month: To get base members .Pxx for Month.
From/To Member Type (Reference Member): There are different types you can choose from to determine start/end Time respectively.
System Date: Time will be automatically derived from the system date (For example: If today is 20/12/2023, Time for Month level will be 2023.P12, Quarter will be 2023.Q1, and Year will be 2023.TOTAL).
FA Context: Time will be derived from the current context of the Time dimension for the same functional area.
Fixed Member: Fix start/end period.
-
Link to Property: System will show all available properties where Time member can be defined from the selection of different members. For example: If in your Version dimension you have a Start Period property which is defined as type "Link to other field - Time" then it will be shown as an option. Notes for this option:
System will determine Time member from the selection of other fields in the same report only.
It will only work if the other field member is a single member (will return no result for multiple members).
Offset: Number of periods for the respective level (Year/Quarter/Month) which will be offset from the reference value to get the final start/end period. For example: If the system date is 20/12/2023, Level is Month, and Offset is +3, then the final member will be 2023.P12 + 3 = 2024.P02.

The template is based on the Revenue Virtual Model. On member selection in each layout section, update and refresh retrieves the value from the system. Additional styles can be applied to make the report more readable.
