This article describes the significant feature enhancements in JustPerform v25.7.
Additional columns in Process Monitor Export file
The Export file in the Monitor tab under Process now includes three additional columns: Due Date (dd/mm/yyyy format), Updated at (dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss format), and Updated by (Username text).
The exported Excel file will now include the new tracking columns: Due Date, Updated at, and Updated by for the Active Cycles.
Context Transfer for Boards and snippets
The Context Transfer feature ensures that when users navigate from Boards to Sheets, Reports, or Snippets, the system automatically maintains the relevant context and configuration settings. This enhancement provides seamless navigation while preserving user selections and activity-specific configurations.
The Context Transfer functionality operates as an automatic system behavior, requiring no manual user intervention.
The system automatically transfers the context based on the navigation path. When opening from the Explorer or a Board, user's own selections take precedence. When opening from an Activity tab, activity-specific instance configurations override user selections. Context is maintained across Sheets, Reports, and Snippets opened from Boards.
Instance Context Transfer
The Instance Context Transfer ensures that when users navigate from Activity instances to Sheets, Reports, or Snippets, the system automatically applies the activity-specific context.
When opening from an activity instance, activity-specific context take precedence and override user's personal selections. Instance context includes all settings defined for that specific activity, and context transfer maintains the activity's predefined parameters across all opened components.
This enhancement provides seamless navigation experience by automatically preserving relevant context and configurations when moving between different components of the system.
Link Selector in Board
The Internal Link Selector feature introduces the ability to create hyperlinks to existing system components within Board textboxes. This enhancement differentiates between internal links (system components within the workspace) and external links (URLs outside the system), providing users with a streamlined way to connect Board content to other JustPerform components.
Creating Internal Links

Navigate to a Board and add a textbox, enter the text

Select the text and right click on the selected text and choose the hyperlink option from the context menu.

In the link creation popup, select "Internal link" from the Type dropdown.

Click "Select Link" below the Link textbox to open the field selector.

Choose the system component you want to link to from the available options in the field selector.

Click "Save" in the field selector to update the Link textbox with the component URL.

Edit the Text to display field if needed.

Add tooltip text that appears on hover in the Title field.

Choose one of the following tabs from the drop down to open the link as a sub-tab within the board.

Save and publish the board to activate the internal link.
Users can create more integrated board experiences by linking directly to related system components, enabling seamless navigation during demos and presentations. The sub-tab functionality allows users to start demonstrations from any board without needing to navigate to separate activity views, improving workflow efficiency and presentation capabilities.
Object Localization Support
Object Localization capabilities have been implemented to support multi-language environments and improve accessibility for global users. This enhancement allows objects to display in the user's preferred language automatically.
The system now supports manual translation and switching for object labels, descriptions, and metadata. All object types including dimensions, metrics, and processes can be localized based on user preferences or system settings.

Step 1: Setting Language Preferences

Navigate to My Profile in the JustPerform platform.

Select your preferred language from the available options.

Save the language preference to your user profile.
The Excel Add-in automatically syncs to reflect the selected language.

Navigate to App > Localization tab.

Search for elements users want to translate.

Input the translated content for language.

Save the settings.

This enhancement provides comprehensive multi-language support that automatically adapts the user interface to display content in the user's preferred language across all workspace objects.
Enhanced Control Status Tooltip
A comprehensive Control Status Tooltip has been implemented to provide a quick summary on control summary feedback on control metrics.
The tooltip will count the number of control message from control snippets that are assigned and show their status. The users can be able to open the control snippet and the metric page to investigate if needed.
Control status tooltip appears in the Sheet, Snippet, and Board.
Advanced Ranking and Sorting in Metric Formula
The Ranking and Sorting in Metric Formula feature introduces the ability to use entire metric data as a range for formula calculations with group functions like RANK. This enhancement enables users to perform ranking and sorting operations across complete datasets while maintaining data integrity through comprehensive validation and automated preference management.
Using Ranking and Sorting Functions

Enable Group Output Data in the metric configuration panel.

Select a single input metric from the available options (multi-metric selection is automatically restricted).

Choose a Group Function (such as RANK) from the dropdown menu.

Select Group By dimensions from the valid data schema options.

The system automatically clears manual Preference settings and makes the field read-only.

Configure additional settings as needed for your specific ranking requirements.

Publish the metric to apply the ranking formula across the entire data range.
Custom Alias Names for Input Metrics
The Metric Formula now supports custom alias names for input metrics in Formula and Summary metrics. Users can assign meaningful alias names that serve as column headers, making formulas more understandable with business-friendly terminology.
The alias text box dynamically expands when values are entered and collapses when left blank, providing a clean interface experience. The system validates for duplicate alias names within each metric to ensure naming consistency, while input metrics without alias names automatically display their default names as column headers.
Setting up Alias Names:

Navigate to Metric Detail Page for a Formula or Summary metric.

Access the Input Metrics section.

Enter a descriptive alias name in the Alias text box next to each input metric.

The text box expands when values are entered and collapses when left blank.

Click Refresh, Publish, or Save to apply changes.
This enhancement improves formula readability by allowing custom, descriptive names for input metrics that appear as column headers. Users can create more intuitive metric formulas using business terminology rather than technical metric names, making complex calculations easier to understand and maintain for team collaboration.
Explore Metric Cell Data
The new "Explore Metric” Cell Data feature enables users to drill down into metric details directly from any data cell. This enhancement provides instant access to underlying data and supports detailed analysis workflows.
This feature provides contextual data breakdown showing how metric values are calculated, including source data, applied formulas, and contributing factors. Users can access this information through right-click context menus or dedicated exploration icons.

The metric details are displayed in a new tab.
Copy Metric Functionality
Users can now copy metrics with all attributes and formulas intact through a dedicated copy function. The JustPerform Application preserves all metric settings including formulas, data types, validation rules, and configuration attributes when creating duplicate metrics. The copy function requires single metric selection and automatically opens the duplicated metric in a new tab for immediate configuration or data refresh.
Copying a Metric:

Navigate to the Metric List and select a single metric using the checkbox.

Click the Copy Metric icon in the toolbar.
A popup window displays with a Metric Name field for the new metric.

Enter a unique name for the duplicated metric.

Click Save to create the copy with all original settings preserved .
The system automatically opens the new metric page in a new tab and displays blank data initially.
All original metric settings, formulas, and attributes are preserved.

Click Refresh or Publish to populate the metric with current data.

Modify any settings as needed for the specific use case.
This enhancement significantly reduces metric creation time by allowing users to duplicate existing metrics with all their complex configurations intact. Users can quickly create variations of successful metric formulas without manually recreating validation rules, data types, and calculation logic.
The feature streamlines metric development workflows by providing a reliable foundation for new metrics based on proven configurations, reducing setup errors and ensuring consistency across similar metrics within the workspace.
Duplicate Input Metrics in Formula Creation
The Metric Formula creation interface now includes a duplicate option for input metrics, allowing users to replicate input metrics with all their parameters intact.
This functionality appears as an additional option positioned before the existing Delete option, enabling quick duplication of configured input metrics during formula development.
Duplicating Input Metrics:

Navigate to Metric Formula creation or editing interface

Locate the input metric you want to duplicate in the input metrics list

Click the Duplicate option
The system creates an exact copy of the input metric with all parameters preserved
The duplicated metric appears in the input metrics list with identical configuration
The feature is particularly valuable when working with multiple input metrics that share similar parameters but require slight modifications for different calculation scenarios.
Automatic Language Detection for Lineos Conversations
Lineos now automatically detects and applies user language preferences when initiating conversations. The system reads the preferred language setting from the user profile and immediately adapts all responses to match the user's language preference, enabling seamless communication without manual language selection.
Users can update their language preference in the user profile settings, and Lineos will automatically apply the new language setting in future conversations. The system maintains language consistency throughout each conversation session based on the initial preference detection.
This enhancement creates a more personalized and comfortable user experience by eliminating the need for manual language selection at the start of each Lineos conversation. The automatic detection ensures consistent language application while supporting diverse user bases with different language requirements across the platform.

Render Chart and Table in Lineos
Chart and Table rendering capabilities have been added to Lineos, enabling users to visualize data directly within the intelligence interface. This enhancement provides comprehensive data presentation options for improved analysis and reporting.
Lineos now supports multiple visualization types including bar charts, line graphs, pie charts, and data tables. Users can switch between different visualization modes based on their analysis requirements and data characteristics.

Integrating Lineos with JustPerform Snippet and Board
JustPerform now features integrated AI-powered capabilities through the Lineos AI boards or snippets, enabling users to perform intelligent data analysis and create visualizations directly within the platform.
The AI integration is available both within board snippets and on the homepage, allowing users to quickly analyze data, create various chart types, and generate insights. Users can request specific visualizations like bar charts, line graphs, and pie charts, with the AI automatically selecting the most suitable chart type based on the provided data.

Multi-language Support for Excel Add-in
The JustPerform Excel Add-in now features comprehensive multi-language support with automatic synchronization to the platform's localization system. When users change their language preference in their platform profile, the Excel Add-in automatically updates to display all interfaces and labels in the selected language. This enhancement ensures consistent multilingual experience between the web platform and Excel Add-in, with all available platform languages supported in the add-in environment.

Users can change their language preference in either the web platform or Excel Add-in, and the system automatically updates the other component to match. All language settings are stored centrally in the user profile, ensuring consistent experience across both platforms regardless of where the change originates.
The Excel Add-in supports all languages available in the platform localization system, maintains automatic synchronization with platform language preferences, and provides bidirectional language updates between web platform and Excel Add-in. Users experience consistent multilingual interfaces across both environments.
Input Dataset for Intercompany Elimination and Auto Journal Rules
The Input Dataset field has been restored to both Intercompany Elimination and Auto Journal rules.
The interface includes updated labelling with "Remark" changed to "Description" and "Auto Journal Rule Details" renamed to "Line Item Rule".
Additionally, in Auto Journal rules, the users can now resequence the rules through drag-and-drop functionality for better rule organization. The system displays updated column headers with "Rule Set" (previously ID) and "Output Dataset" (previously Dataset ID) for clearer identification.
This enhancement provides greater flexibility in rule configuration by restoring input dataset selection capabilities.
