The system includes intelligent hierarchical tracking where parent folders reflect latest sub-item modifications, creation fallback when no modifications exist, and advanced search functionality across tracking columns. This significantly improves collaboration tracking, change management, and audit trail capabilities while maintaining optimal performance.

Catalog functionality for Process and Datahub Components

The Catalog functionality has been introduced at both Process and Datahub components, providing users with a unified list view displaying names, types, cycle dimensions, timestamps, and user attribution. This enhancement features dedicated Catalog tabs with advanced search capabilities across all columns and hover-activated action menus for edit, copy, delete, and create operations.

  • Process Catalog - Now available for the first time, providing organized views of all process components

  • Enhanced Data Hub Catalogs - Comprehensive catalog views for Dimensions, Remote Tables, and Data Flows

Users can now efficiently navigate through processes, folders, dimensions, remote tables, dataflows, and table sets without manual folder navigation. The implementation includes hierarchical content display, comprehensive metadata, and intelligent search functionality that streamlines content discovery workflows.

Explore Metric Cell Button Label Enhancement

The "Explore metric cell data" label has been simplified to "Explore metric" to provide clearer, and more intuitive navigation. This enhancement affects all instances across dashboards, reports, analysis worksheets, and board components, ensuring consistent terminology throughout the platform.

The change reduces cognitive load by replacing technical terminology with user-friendly language while maintaining all existing functionality for detailed metric exploration, data analysis, and drill-down capabilities.

The redesigned side panel displays tasks with updated dates, due dates, and integrated user profile information in a clean, organized format. Task groups and individual tasks are presented with improved visual clarity, featuring standardized checkboxes, consistent fonts, and enhanced readability. This new design framework will serve as the template for all future side panels and guide the migration of existing side panels to maintain visual consistency throughout the platform.

Enhanced Metric Hierarchy for Selection

The Metric Hierarchy is enhanced to enable multi-level organization of metrics through intuitive drag-and-drop functionality. Users can now create hierarchical relationships between any metrics regardless of their type or data type, transforming flat metric lists into organized, multi-level structures that improve navigation and selection efficiency.

Metrics can be dragged and dropped to create parent-child relationships, with the hierarchy maintained across sheets, field panes, and catalog views. The display format has been optimized to show metrics first followed by sections, and catalog views now present metrics in a streamlined "sheet name.metric" format with the section column removed for cleaner organization. This enhancement provides visual organization benefits and simplifies bulk metric selection by allowing users to select parent metrics and automatically include all descendants.

All Selection option in FAContext Feature

The "All" Option for Dimensions feature is introduced to extend bulk selection capabilities beyond metrics to include dimensions with FA context enabled. Users can now select all leaf members of a dimension at once, eliminating the need for individual member selection across large dimension hierarchies.

This functionality works seamlessly from both snippets and board interfaces, allowing users to quickly include all available dimension members such as all time periods, all products, or all organizational levels with a single selection.

The feature automatically identifies and selects all leaf-level members within the dimension hierarchy, streamlining data analysis workflows and reducing manual selection time for comprehensive reporting.

Internal Link Enhancement for Images

Images are enhanced with internal system linking capabilities, extending the existing text linking functionality to visual elements. Images can now be configured to link to any internal system component including sheets, boards, fields, and other system elements, providing the same navigation options as text links.

The enhancement provides three opening modes for linked images: new tab, new window, or perform tab, with customizable alternative descriptions and titles for accessibility and user guidance. Context transfer is maintained when navigating through image links, ensuring that current board selections and member choices are preserved and applied to the destination content. Images retain full linking functionality regardless of size adjustments, allowing flexible visual design while maintaining navigation capabilities.

The enhancement supports diverse image types including dashboard images, report graphics, content images, and custom graphics with destination options spanning dashboards, reports, forms, and processes. Advanced features include hover effects and visual cues for clickable images, tooltip information, contextual menu access for link configuration, comprehensive destination selection, mobile-optimized touch-friendly linking, and seamless integration with existing internal linking functionality.

Log and Trace File Enhancement

The Trace File functionality is enhanced with comprehensive troubleshooting capabilities and improved file management. These enhancements provide deeper insights into metric calculations and streamline debugging workflows when changes are made to metric inputs.

The Trace files now include three additional columns that provide detailed calculation context: Data Scope shows the input field selections and member choices where changes occurred, Output Scope captures field mismatches and selection differences when values are passed between related metrics, and Formula displays the exact location within formulas where metrics are used. This enhanced information significantly improves troubleshooting capabilities by providing complete visibility into metric relationships and calculation flows.
