v25.10: Object Versioning
Object Versioning in JustPerform automatically tracks changes to objects by incrementing version numbers. When users modify an object, the platform assigns either a major or minor version change based on the type of modification.
Version tracking is implemented for sheets, metrics, calculations, process flows, v25.11: data flows, table sets, remote tables, connections, and rules.
Version number format: X.Y (Example: 1.0, 2.1, 3.5)
-
First digit (X) = Major version
Major changes include modifications such as adding dimensions to a sheet, changing calculation formulas, or altering the core structure of an object.
For example, these changes increment the version from 1.0 to 2.0.
-
Second digit (Y) = Minor version
Minor changes include updates such as renaming objects, modifying descriptions, or adjusting display settings.
For example, these changes increment the version from 2.0 to 2.1.
