This article describes the significant feature enhancements in JustPerform v25.12.

Interactive Help Access Through Guides Menu

A new Guides option has been added to the Help menu, providing direct access to WalkMe interactive guidance and training resources. When you click the Guides option, a WalkMe pop-up opens, offering navigation assistance, feature walkthroughs, and contextual help for working with JustPerform components such as snippets, the Explorer pane, and other interface elements.

The Guides option includes a dedicated icon in the Help menu dropdown. You can access training resources and interactive tutorials at any time without leaving your current workflow. Click the Guides option to open the WalkMe interface, where you can take guided tours, rate content, and submit feedback or suggestions directly to the training team.

Key Benefits:

  • Access interactive training and guidance directly from the Help menu.

  • Navigate to snippets, Explorer pane, and other features with guided assistance.

  • Take tours of JustPerform functionality at your own pace.

  • Provide feedback and suggestions on training content.

  • Improve feature adoption with contextual, in-application help.

Enhancements to Dimension Type Configuration

Dimension type configuration has been simplified to reflect current platform architecture, removing outdated options and introducing configurable controls for specialized dimension types. This enhancement streamlines the dimension creation process and ensures that users see only relevant, supported dimension type options.

Scenario Dimension Type

The Scenario dimension type option has been removed from the dimension type dropdown during dimension creation. JustPerform now automatically creates a single Scenario dimension when you establish a new workspace, ensuring consistent workspace configuration. The auto-created Scenario dimension cannot be deleted, protecting workspace integrity.

Time Dimension Type

Configuration options for Time (Date) dimensions have been streamlined by removing the following settings: Allow Creation of Master Data, Include Sub-Fields, and Enable Level Group. This simplification provides standardized Time dimension configuration that aligns with current platform requirements

Model-Based Setup to Manage Dimensions

A new workspace-level checkbox labeled Model-Based Setup controls the availability of Management, Ownership, and Notes dimension types. When you enable this checkbox in workspace configuration, these specialized dimension types become available in the dimension type dropdown during dimension creation. When the checkbox remains disabled, these options stay hidden from the dimension creation interface.

Key Benefits:

  • Create dimensions more efficiently with fewer configuration options.

  • Ensure consistent workspace setup with automatic Scenario dimension creation.

  • Work with standardized Time dimension settings.

  • Access specialized dimension types only when workspace configuration requires them.

  • Reduce setup complexity by seeing only relevant dimension type options.

Unified Single Select Property Type with Enhanced Capabilities

The Group property type has been renamed to Single Select and now includes an optional Allow reporting at group members checkbox. This enhancement consolidates two separate property types into a single unified type that adapts to different use cases, simplifying property configuration and reducing user confusion.

The system has automatically migrated all existing Group and Single Select properties to the new unified structure. Previous Group properties now appear as Single Select properties with the Allow reporting at group members checkbox enabled, while previous Single Select properties appear with the checkbox disabled. All existing functionality, data, and member filter configurations remain unchanged.

When you enable the Allow reporting at group members checkbox, the property supports hierarchical relationships in member filters, allowing users to select Parent, Child, Leaf Member, and other relationship types. When the checkbox remains disabled, member filters automatically default to Leaf Member relationship type, restricting selection to leaf-level members only. This applies to member filters in sheets, input snippets, reports, dataflows, calculations, and sheet rules.

Key Benefits:

  • Configure properties using a single unified type instead of choosing between Group and Single Select.

  • Adapt property behavior to specific requirements with the Allow reporting at group members checkbox.

  • Work with familiar functionality through automatic migration with no data loss.

  • Simplify member filter configuration with clear relationship options based on checkbox setting.

  • Reduce training requirements by eliminating confusion between separate property types.

OData Snippet Support

JustPerform now supports a new snippet type called OData for sheets. This snippet type includes rows and filters but does not contain columns. Additionally, a new field, Technical ID, has been introduced in OData snippets to enable exposing them as OData services. The Technical ID is unique across all snippet types, not just OData snippets. You can expose OData snippets via OData services by referencing their Technical ID, and export the report via API.

Key Benefits:

  • Enable automated extraction of specific snippets without manual export via API.

  • Reduce dependency on UI-based interactions.

  • Allow consumers to fetch only required snippets using filters, and query options (e.g., $filter in OData).

  • Provide up-to-date data access directly from the source system.

For how to create OData snippets, see OData Snippets.
