Board Composition and Layout

Boards consolidate data and visualizations from multiple snippets and sheets, creating an integrated workspace for reviewing and updating datasets simultaneously. They can include:

• Sheets

• Input, report, and visual snippets (model/virtual model)

• Text boxes and shapes

Layout Options:

• Canvas: Fixed width, unlimited height.

• Slides: Fixed width and height for presentations.

• Docs: Fixed width and height in A4 format.

• Responsive: Adapts dynamically to various screen sizes.

This flexibility allows users to tailor boards to specific needs, ensuring optimal data presentation.

Snippet Placement on Boards

Boards allow users to add snippets, text, and shapes to create interactive dashboards. Key features include:

• Adding snippets from sheets and models within the same functional area.

• Resizing and repositioning objects freely.

• Embedding hyperlinks and formatting text with rich styling options.

• Including images in text boxes for enhanced visual context.

Objects can be deleted or rearranged in Edit Mode, and changes are saved by publishing the board.

Interactive dashboards

Board Security

Boards maintain strict functional area boundaries—only items within the same functional area can be added. This ensures controlled access and data integrity. Permissions are managed through JustPerform’s role-based security, safeguarding sensitive information while enabling collaboration.
