Business Processes are consolidations of scenarios, with each scenario covering a business outcome and the actions/steps to achieve it. The intelligent algorithm automatically generates required data flow, models, and associated business rules based on scenario steps, with data protection rules automatically updating as dataflow status changes. Steps defined in scenarios are automatically grouped into Tasks, Activities, and Workflow.

Business Reference Models provide 100+ pre-built scenarios with automatically generated underlying data flows and models that can be adapted to organization-specific requirements. Scenario Management enables enhancing inherited scenarios with versioning and approval workflow for change control. Process Alignment enables sharing scenarios and business rules with business users. Workflow orchestration creates series of activities and tasks with workflow shared for alignment and published for execution. Process Catalog provides unified list view with advanced search for efficient process navigation and management.

Process Structure

Process Components

Process definitions are executed through automatically generated components.

• Tasks - Tasks represent single pieces of work to be done by users or automatically executed, forming the execution units of the process.

• Activities - Activities represent groups of tasks to be executed by specific groups of users, organizing process execution by functional areas.

• Workflow - Workflow includes sequence of activities through which business outcomes are achieved, orchestrating process execution with controlled initiation, assignment, and completion.

Implementing Business Processes

To implement business processes:

2. Browse business reference models to find scenarios matching business outcomes
3. Select scenarios from reference models as foundation
4. The system automatically generates models, data flows, and business rules
5. Adapt inherited scenarios to organization-specific requirements
6. Submit scenarios through approval workflow for validation
7. Orchestrate approved scenarios into activities and tasks using workflow designer
8. Share workflow with stakeholders for alignment
9. Publish workflow to deploy the process
10. Monitor process execution through the Monitor tab
