Audit logging

• Set up audit trails

Introducing Snippets

Snippets have been introduced to display and manage different views of your datasets in JustPerform. Snippets have been added to various objects, including fields, standard and virtual models, and remote tables. You can find them for each object under the Snippets button on the header. In this release, standard snippets with public access are available, whereas future releases will include private and custom snippet creation capabilities.

Using Snippets, along with data, data logs, and audit history can also be viewed using the Data History option. The Data History option to view the audit log is also enabled from the Excel Add-in. Data analysis for both data and data logs can be performed using the web UI, with its inherent filter, search, export, and standard JustPerform platform capabilities.

Enhancements to Audit History

The audit history logging has been enhanced to capture more data modification actions beyond the basic save and clear operations. The system now generates audit logs for additional data operations, providing more comprehensive tracking of changes made within the application.

Previously, audit history captured only generic actions like saving data or clearing data. With this enhancement, the system tracks a broader range of data modifications, giving administrators more detailed visibility into user actions and data changes over time.

Key Benefits:

  • Tracks a wider range of data modification actions in audit logs

  • Gains more comprehensive visibility into system changes

  • Improves compliance and audit trail documentation

  • Monitors detailed user activity beyond basic save and clear operations

Step 4: Enable Change Tracking (For Delta)

  1. Navigate to Settings → Administration → System Settings

  2. Enable audit logs

  3. For specific entities:

    1. Navigate to Settings → Customizations → Entities

    2. Select entity → Enable Change Tracking

    3. Publish customizations
