Create Journal

1. Go to Functional and click the Plus icon.

2. From Transactions, select Journal.

3. Enter the name and title.

4. The default dimensions and metrics will be automatically populated in the Layout and the Dimensions section. Add metrics and dimensions as needed.

5. On the level 2 header, click Create Journal.

v26.03: Add Journal Snippets to Boards

Users can now insert Journal Snippets—created from Report or Visual snippets within Journals—directly into boards. Once created, these snippets appear in the Snippets list and can be added to any board within the same functional area.

How to Add a Journal Snippet to a Board

1. Create a Report or Visual snippet in a Journal within a functional area.

2. Create or open a board within the same functional area.

3. Click on the plus (+) icon and select Snippets from the Level 2 Header.

4. In the Snippets list, select the Journal Snippet created in step 1.

5. Click OKAY. The selected Journal Snippets are added to the board as widgets.

Supported Actions for Journal Snippets on Boards

• Journal Snippets automatically inherit the board’s FA context.

• Snippets can be dragged and repositioned on boards.

• Snippets can be removed as needed.
