Data Actions in Calculation Tasks
Data actions such as copy, clear, and move can now be executed as calculation tasks within process flow activities. This allows users to perform data management operations through the guided task interface.
Creating a task with data actions
Navigate to Process Flows from the left navigation menu.
Select an existing process flow or create a new one.
Add or edit a calculation task within the process flow.
-
In the task configuration, locate the new data action options:
Clear Data - Removes data for specified selections.
Copy Data - Duplicates data between locations.
-
Move Data - Transfers data from source to destination.
-
Configure the data action parameters:
Select the target sheet (for example, "Test Input")
Specify the data selection criteria.
Define time periods or dimensions to affect.
Save the task configuration with the data actions included.
Execute copy and move data action
Select Copy Data or Move Data in the task configuration.

Configure operation options:
For copy: Determine if existing data must be overwritten.
For move: Confirm that source data must be removed after transfer.
Save and test the configuration with sample data.
Execute the task to perform the copy or move operation.
Execute clear data action
When you execute a clear data task, the system removes all data for the selected time period from the specified sheet.
To clear data:
