Creating Apps

  1. In the Explorer, click the plus icon and select Create App. The App Details pane opens.

  2. Enter the App Name which is mandatory.

  3. Click Add to assign more users as app owners. The user creating the app will be automatically assigned as the app owner. Only the app owner can grant permission to users in the workspace to access selective objects and data in the app, as well as recalculate metrics and export metric details.

  4. Check Secured App to make the app secure.

    When an app is made secure, permissions and data access can no longer be controlled from the Governance section at the space level. These can only be set up from the Permission tab of the app at the app level, which is accessible only to the app owners.

  5. Click SAVE at the bottom of the pane to create the app.
