Introducing Snippets
Snippets have been introduced to display and manage different views of your datasets in JustPerform. Snippets have been added to various objects, including fields, standard and virtual models, and remote tables. You can find them for each object under the Snippets button on the header. In this release, standard snippets with public access are available, whereas future releases will include private and custom snippet creation capabilities.
Using Snippets, along with data, data logs, and audit history can also be viewed using the Data History option. The Data History option to view the audit log is also enabled from the Excel Add-in. Data analysis for both data and data logs can be performed using the web UI, with its inherent filter, search, export, and standard JustPerform platform capabilities.
v25.11: Enhancements to Audit History
Track more data modification actions with enhanced audit logging. The system now automatically logs additional operations beyond the basic save and clear actions.
Use audit logs for compliance requirements, security monitoring, and troubleshooting. Each log entry captures the timestamp, user identity, operation type, affected data, and operation status.
To access and review audit logs:
Navigate to the audit and logging interface
Select the time period you want to review
Filter by user, operation type, or affected components as needed
Review log entries to identify specific activities
Export logs for compliance reporting or detailed analysis
The enhanced logging generates more entries than previous versions. Consider establishing retention policies to manage audit data storage effectively.
