v25.10: Launch Calculation Task from Board
Calculation tasks are an established feature in JustPerform's process flows that perform various computational operations. Launching Calculation Task from Board enables users to execute existing calculation tasks directly from board interfaces.
When configuring a board, users can now select the Calculation option and link it to any existing calculation task from their process flows. This creates a visual button on the board and when clicked, executes the selected calculation task directly.
This feature bridges the gap between boards (where users analyze data) and calculation tasks (which process data), eliminating the need to navigate between different interfaces to run calculations.
Add a Calculation Task to Board
Navigate to the board where you want to add calculation tasks.
-
In the Edit Mode of the board, click the plus button on the level 2 header and select Calculation. The Calculation Details dialog opens.
-
Enter the unique name in the Title field.
Select the required tasks from the Tasks drop down.
Select SAVE to apply the board configuration.
Run Calculations from the Board
Open the board that contains the configured calculation button.
Select Calculation from the board interface.
Monitor the calculation progress through the status indicators (if provided).
View the calculation results directly on the board or in the designated output area.
Note: The calculation executes using the current context and data from the board, following the same logic as if run from the process flow.
