Enhancements to Platform Performance: Vue 3 Upgrade

JustPerform has been upgraded to Vue 3, a modern UI library that enhances the platform's underlying framework. This upgrade involves minimal visible changes to the user interface but provides significant improvements to system performance and stability. The Vue 3 framework offers better resource management, faster rendering, and more efficient component updates across all JustPerform modules.

This platform upgrade establishes a stronger foundation for future feature development. The modernized framework simplifies UI development and enables the team to deliver new features and enhancements more efficiently. Users benefit from improved application responsiveness, particularly when working with large data sets and complex interfaces.

Enhancements to Related Pages: Consistent Order in Pop-up and Side Panel

Administrators can now reorder related pages using drag-and-drop functionality in the side panel. When configuring a sheet's related pages through Edit Layout, simply drag any page to a new position in the list. The sequence you set in the side panel automatically applies to the Related Pages pop-up that appears when users right-click and select drill-through.

This enhancement ensures the Related Pages pop-up and Related Pages on the side panel show the same order of related pages. For example, if you drag "SS2 Metrics" from the third position to the top of your related pages list, it immediately appears as the first option in the drill-through pop-up.

Enhancements to Secured Applications: Export and Import Roles

JustPerform now supports export and import functionality for roles within secured applications. When you mark an application as secured, you can access a new Permissions tab that includes export and import options for role configurations. This capability allows administrators to export role settings from one secured application and import them into another, streamlining role management across the platform.

This enhancement simplifies role configuration management for secured applications. Administrators can replicate role structures across multiple secured applications without manual recreation, reducing setup time and ensuring consistency. The export and import functionality maintains all role permissions and settings during the transfer process.

Enhancements to Metric List Export: UI Columns Matching

The metric list export file now displays the same columns that appear in the user interface. When you export the metric list from a functional area's Metrics tab, the exported file includes all columns visible in the UI, such as Metric, Data Type, Control Set, Formula, Data Protection Rule, Applies To, and Dimension and so on. Previously, the export file included some unnecessary columns and omitted others that appeared in the UI.

This enhancement ensures consistency between what you see on screen and what you receive in the exported file. Empty fields in the UI, such as "Click to select" for Data Protection Rule, appear as empty cells in the export file. This alignment eliminates confusion when reviewing exported metric data and ensures you have complete information for documentation and analysis purposes.

Enhancements to Version Control: Lock Versions

Administrators can now lock versions to prevent users from modifying data within specific versions. When you lock a version, users cannot enter new data, update existing values, clear data, run formulas, or copy data to that version. This control applies to all data modification operations, ensuring version integrity for scenarios like finalized actuals or approved budgets.

The lock functionality uses a new "Locked?" property in the dimension master data for scenario-type dimensions. When you check the "Locked?" option for a version, the system blocks all data modification attempts and displays a warning message to users. A lock icon appears beside locked version members, providing a visual indicator of their protected status. If users try to copy data, run calculations, or clear values in a locked version, the system prevents the action. You can unlock versions at any time by unchecking the "Locked?" property in the dimension master data.

Localization Support in Board Tables

JustPerform now supports localization for text boxes on boards, enabling multilingual content display based on user language preferences. This enhancement allows you to create and maintain independent text box content for each supported language, including different text, formatting, and hyperlinks.


When users view a board, text boxes automatically display content in their preferred language as configured in their profile settings. You can manage translations for any language while working in any other language, providing flexible localization management.

 Enhancements to Audit History

The audit history logging has been enhanced to capture more data modification actions beyond the basic save and clear operations. The system now generates audit logs for additional data operations, providing more comprehensive tracking of changes made within the application.

Previously, audit history captured only generic actions like saving data or clearing data. With this enhancement, the system tracks a broader range of data modifications, giving administrators more detailed visibility into user actions and data changes over time.

Metric Enhancements: Publish Formula Changes, Rerun Metric, and Track Metric Formula History

When working on the Metrics page, publishing typically requires a full recalculation of all data—a process that can take hours when large data sets or complex formulas are involved. JustPerform now enhances the metric publishing process for formula metric, thereby improving publish efficiency and providing greater flexibility in managing recalculations during publishing.

In addition to this enhancement, a new action Rerun Metric has been introduced. This action allows users to trigger a data recalculation regardless of formula changes.

  • Flexible Recalculation Options: JustPerform offers multiple options for calculating metrics when publishing formula changes or recalculating data. You can select the most suitable option, review real-time impacted record count, and confirm your selection.

  • Metric Formula History Table: A new table, Metric Formula History, tracks all formula and metric updates associated with publish and run actions for auditing purpose.

Lineos Enhancements: Data Contexts and Data Frames

Lineos now provides greater transparency and control over the data sent to the LLM for analysis through data contexts and data frames. These enhancements allow users to manage up to five data contexts, reducing the risk of hallucination while preserving analytical depth.

  • Data Contexts indicate which sheet filters have been applied. They are passed to the LLM along with the initial user query, ensuring that the analysis reflects the intended scope.

  • Data Frames display the exact data within a given context that is shared with the LLM, giving users full visibility into what is being processed in backend.

This improvement helps users maintain accuracy, trust, and clarity when leveraging AI-driven insights.

Data Contexts and Data Frames in Lineos

Multiple File Import for Sheets

You can now upload and configure multiple files in a single import session, streamlining the process of bringing related data sets together. This eliminates the need to repeat configuration steps for each file, saving time and effort. The Add File option in the Import Details pane makes it easy to include additional files during the import process.
